In partnership with the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS), the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Seed Trade Association of Kenya (STAK), Agri Experience provided strategic advisory to unlock critical regulatory bottlenecks in Kenya's seed certification ecosystem.
By structuring policy frameworks for private inspector authorization and piloting the 'standard seed' class, the intervention decentralized quality assurance, expanded seed supply for non-hybrid crops, and established a sustainable model that later informed regional regulatory benchmarking across East Africa.
