Data-Driven Insights for the Seed Sector

At Agri Experience, we believe that effective strategy begins with accurate, field-tested data. We conduct rigorous technical studies and scoping exercises that provide development partners, governments, and private sector players with the evidence base needed to design impactful interventions and policies.

Who Our Studies Serve

Development Partners

Bilateral donor agencies, philanthropic foundations, and multilateral development programs investing in agricultural transformation, food security, and market systems development across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Governments & Regulators

National ministries of agriculture, plant health inspectorates, and public regulatory authorities modernizing seed certification standards and agricultural policy frameworks.

Private Sector Enterprises

Commercial seed producers, agricultural input enterprises, and last-mile distribution networks seeking empirical market intelligence and commercial viability insights.

Research Institutions

International agricultural research centers, national crop breeding institutes, and academic institutions translating scientific advances into accessible, commercial seed pathways for smallholder farmers.

USAID’s KCDMS Studies

Commissioned by RTI International under the USAID Kenya Crops and Dairy Market Systems (KCDMS) Activity, Agri Experience executed a comprehensive mapping of agrodealers across 12 counties, with geolocation and contact information.

Agri Experience mapped existing agrodealer networks, assessed gaps in last-mile delivery, and provided actionable recommendations to strengthen input distribution systems for smallholder farmers.
